His Excellency Easa Saleh al Gurg has been conferred the title of Knight Commander of the Victorian Order by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. The title comes in recognition of his long and eventful diplomatic career, and was conveyed to him in London by Sarah Gillette, Vice Marshall of the Diplomatic Corp, on December 17, 2008.
With this honour, he will now be addressed as Sir Easa Saleh al Gurg, KCVO, CBE. It is a matter of great pride and joy for all in the Al Gurg Group.
