Dr Raja Al Gurg recently spearheaded a strategic meeting with Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at the RTA. The dialogue focused on strengthening cooperation between the two organisations to enhance Dubai’s healthcare landscape.

In her capacity as the Chairperson of the Al Jalila Foundation Board of Directors and Member of the Dubai Health Board of Directors, Dr Raja highlighted the critical importance of expanding healthcare projects in alignment with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. She provided a comprehensive update on the latest progress of the Hamdan bin Rashid Cancer Hospital, which is poised to become the first fully integrated comprehensive cancer facility in the emirate.

The meeting, attended by Dr Amer Ahmad Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health, alongside senior officials from both the RTA and the Al Jalila Foundation, served as a platform to explore how transport and urban infrastructure can better support medical accessibility.
