Dr Raja Al Gurg attended a meeting with donors and contributors to the Edge of Life campaign, convened by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.

The Edge of Life campaign was launched during Ramadan by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aiming to raise at least AED 1 billion to rescue five million children from hunger worldwide.

During the meeting, HH Sheikh Hamdan praised the strong public response to the campaign, describing it as a powerful expression of national solidarity and commending supporters for their role in combating childhood hunger in vulnerable communities. The campaign operates in partnership with UNICEF, Save the Children, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation and Action Against Hunger.
