Muna Al Gurg, Vice-Chairperson and Director of Retail, has been named in the TIME 100 Philanthropy list 2026, in recognition of her work to advance opportunities for women and girls across the MENA region.

Through her focus on underserved communities, refugees and displaced populations, Muna supports programmes in education, economic empowerment and healthcare access.

She works alongside organisations including the Women’s Pavilion at Expo City Dubai, Al Jalila Foundation, Every Pregnancy, New York University Abu Dhabi Clinical AI Lab and Anara Capital to drive philanthropic impact across the Arab region. Through her own initiative, the Meem Foundation, she channels this work further through grant giving and impact investing.
