Al Gurg Automation & Controls (AGAC) is one among the preferred partners on the DEWA Hydroelectric project in Hatta, the first of its kind in the GCC region in generating clean energy. With a production capacity of 250 MW, and storage capacity of 1,500 MW per hour, this project is set out to be a milestone for Dubai.

It is a giant leap towards realizing HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision to achieve 100% clean energy for Dubai by 2050. Providing critical infrastructure for this project, AGAC was appointed to design, supply, install and commission the complete electrification using the Siemens SIVACON S8 systems. The scope also included the design and supply of low voltage switchgear and LV bus duct systems.
