Dr Raja Al Gurg recently commended a Dubai Health research team for their achievement in global scientific research. The recognition follows the publication of a study featured on the cover of Nature Medicine, one of the world’s leading medical journals.

Attending in her capacity as a member of the Dubai Health Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Al Jalila Foundation Board of Directors, Dr Raja praised the team’s contribution to Dubai’s standing in the global scientific community. She also acknowledged Maryam Al Hathboor and Fatima Baobaid from the Dubai Health team for designing the journal’s cover, noting that the artwork reflects the UAE’s identity as a hub for heritage and advanced science.

The meeting was also attended by Dr Alawi Alsheikh-Ali, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority and Dr Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health.
