Al Gurg Distribution (AGD) celebrated its first annual event on March 03, at the Sheraton JBR. The date was selected as it coincided with Employee Appreciation Day. The management felt it would be the perfect occasion to appreciate the efforts of the team in building this new division of Al Gurg Distribution and award committed employees of ESAG Tobacco division. Twelve employees won awards for their performance and two lucky draw winners won a cash prize.

The event started with Beach Olympics where 10 teams competed against each other. The day ended with employees showing gratitude and thanking their colleagues with small gifts and thank you cards.
